The Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue Association
The PDWRA is a Registered Charity which has been in existence for over 50 years and is completely run by volunteers. Each year, they rescue and rehome hundreds of pugs in need, providing veterinary, fostering and adoption services.

The Story
Established in 1973, the PDWRA are the top Pug Rescue
Charity in the UK.
In May 2022 they were looking for help with their outreach
and social media, so being a cause close to our hearts we
stepped in and now work for them on a pro bono basis.
We manage their regular newsletter campaigns and have
increased their subscriber list from a few hundred people to
several thousand, we also look after some of their social
platforms and help with graphics, fundraising and strategy.
1st Option Digital are responsible for all posting on Instagram, creating engaging imagery, reels, stories and replying to comments, Since taking over management of this platform we’ve been growing follower numbers on average by 100 people per month.

1st Option Digital also create a wide range of graphics for the PDWRA, which are used on their website, social media platforms and newsletters.
